About the role We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have experience with the target group within LSS. The role involves supporting participants in engaging in meaningful activities and increasing their independence and participation in everyday life. By leading training circles, adapting activities and environments, and being able to recommend assistive devices, you help participants carry out desired activities based on their abilities. This can involve everything from personal hygiene and cooking to participating in work-related activities. You motivate participants in activities that promote health and quality of life. In your work, you collaborate with other professionals to create a holistic solution that meets the unique needs of the participants. You will be part of the local management team along with the operations manager, group manager, and business developer.

About Hammarby Day Activity

Hammarby Day Activity offers meaningful tasks for people with disabilities, tailored to the individual's needs and conditions. Security is created through fixed groups and personally designed activities. The operation has 48 full-time places with the possibility of external internships. The target group is adults within the first circle of individuals. An engaged team of about 17 people, including an occupational therapist, business developer, and craft educator, is part of the operation run by Nytida on behalf of the City of Stockholm.

Hammarby Day Activity is located in Södermalm, between Vitabergsparken and northern Hammarbyhamnen, with good communication via bus, ferry, and subway (the nearest station is Skanstull, about a 15-minute walk).

Your experience and knowledge You are communicative and see opportunities, have a positive outlook, and a strong commitment to people. The work requires you to be responsible, flexible, and have personal maturity. You share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues and see it as natural to contribute to a positive work climate. Additionally, you have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

  • Licensed occupational therapist
  • Experience working within LSS
  • You have knowledge of pedagogical methods and approaches and a good understanding of the laws and regulations governing the content of the operation
  • Good computer skills
