Are you an engaged and service-oriented car mechanic? Fordonsakademin is currently looking for a new colleague for our client in Uppsala!

About the position

In this role as a car mechanic, you will be offered a varied and developing workday in a modern and well-equipped workshop environment. Together with your team, you will have the opportunity to work with service and repairs of passenger cars and commercial vehicles, where quality and customer satisfaction are always in focus. The position is full-time with a start date according to agreement.

Main responsibilities

• Perform service and ongoing maintenance of passenger cars and commercial vehicles
• Carry out repairs and replacement of wear parts and components
• Troubleshooting vehicles using both traditional and digital tools
• Ensure high quality through careful inspection of completed work
• In some cases, customer contact for information about actions and repairs
• Register and document completed work in the workshop system

Who are we looking for as a car mechanic?

We are looking for a person with a great interest in the automotive industry, who is responsible and quality-conscious. You enjoy practical work, like to collaborate in a team, and are solution-oriented even under time pressure. The role suits both those with solid experience as a car mechanic and those who are newly graduated from an automotive engineering program – we place the greatest emphasis on your willingness to develop and deliver top-class service.

Qualifications and requirements

• Education in automotive technology, car mechanics or equivalent competence
• Experience in vehicle service, troubleshooting, and repair is an advantage
• Driver's license B is a requirement
• Good computer skills and basic knowledge of modern diagnostic tools
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written – English is an advantage
