TAWI in Kungsbacka is looking for someone who wants to combine a passion for technology with improvement work and daily coordination. As a coordinator for production & improvement, you will play a key role where you both drive development projects and are involved in the daily operations of production and facilities. We are looking for someone who is curious, structured, and wants to work in a broad role focusing on production, improvement work, and practical coordination.

About the role

In this role, you will support our production manager in developing and improving workflows, driving projects, and ensuring that production runs efficiently and structurally. The role is broad and varied, with both strategic improvement initiatives and practical coordination of the daily operations of production.

You will gain insight into the entire operation and work closely with our production manager, production planner, five team leaders, and various support functions both internally and externally.

You will work with two main areas:

1. Improvement work e.g. work environment, production efficiency, reorganization of production areas, redesign of production flow and processes (1-2 larger projects per year)
2. Daily operations e.g. material flows, property coordination, equipment, and documentation

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and follow up on improvement initiatives and change work
• Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
• Drive improvement projects in production and work environment
• Gather input from team leaders and employees in production
• Coordinate maintenance projects, reorganization of production areas and production flow, as well as property-related issues
• Manage the purchase of production equipment and consumables
• Ensure follow-up and documentation in ongoing production
• Support the production manager with structure, analysis, and development

Profile

We are looking for someone who is analytical, self-driven, and structured, with a natural ability to drive work forward. You are both solution-oriented and communicative, enjoy collaborating with others, whether it’s the team on the floor or support functions in the office, and have a genuine interest in making work easier and smarter for your colleagues.

You enjoy combining operational work with administrative structure, and have the ability to think logically and create engagement in change work.

We believe you have:

• Post-secondary education in engineering, production, or industrial economics
• Experience in improvement work, change management, or project management
• Good administrative skills and a sense of structure
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and follow up
• Strong communication skills and ease in getting others on board
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Familiarity with Office/Excel and preferably experience with ERP systems

Experience from production or property-related coordination is an advantage, but we place the greatest emphasis on the right drive and attitude.
