Who are you?

To apply for the position with us, you need to meet the following requirements and possess these qualities:

  • Certified care assistant training – You are a trained care assistant and can prove your competence with evidence of your protected title.
  • Fluent in Swedish – You master Swedish in both spoken and written form and can document professionally.
  • Driving license B – You are a safe driver who can navigate well in traffic.
  • Stress-resistant and responsible – You handle pressured situations with calm and determination and are confident in taking responsibility.
  • Independent – You are used to working independently but enjoy collaborating with colleagues when needed.
  • Comfortable with documentation according to SoL – You are comfortable documenting according to the Social Services Act and understand the importance of clear, accurate documentation.
  • Digitally savvy – You are comfortable using mobile phones and digital systems in your work.
  • Social and outgoing – You have a positive attitude, are attentive, and appreciate social contact.
  • Communicative and professional – You have a professional approach in your communication with customers, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Flexible and solution-oriented – You are used to an environment where no day is the same and can easily adapt.
  • Meticulous and responsible – You have a high quality awareness and take responsibility for your tasks.
  • Leadership skills when needed – You are comfortable distributing work in case of absence and changes, and can take responsibility when required.
  • Empathetic and attentive – You have a genuine interest in helping people in need of support and the ability to see their individual needs.

Job responsibilities - what will you do?

In home care, you will work in our customers' homes providing the care and support they are entitled to according to assistance decisions and individual implementation plans. Job responsibilities may include:

  • Personal care – For example, assistance with hygiene, dressing and undressing, and support during meals.
  • Social interaction – Participate in conversations, provide companionship, and accompany on walks.
  • Consistent care contact – Serve as a reliable contact person for the customer.
  • Teamwork and independence – Work both independently and together with colleagues for the best possible care.
  • Development and improvement – Actively contribute to the development and improvement of the business.
  • Documentation – Responsible for clear and accurate documentation in our systems.

Areas of responsibility

This position also includes specific areas of responsibility, especially in the evenings and weekends:

  • Phone responsibility – Answer incoming calls from customers, relatives, and staff.
  • Staff oversight – Ensure that all staff have arrived for their shifts and are accounted for at the end of the work period.
  • Planning in case of absence – Reschedule in case of absence when the regular planner and team leader are not present.
  • Reporting – Write reports to the responsible manager or planner at the end of the shift.
  • Work distribution – Assist in distributing tasks in the absence of the planner/team leader.

Work period and hours

Employment type: Permanent employment with a probationary period.

Working hours: We offer varying schedules by agreement.

Location: You will be based at our office in Täby Kyrkby. We prefer that you live nearby so that the commute to and from work is not burdensome.
