APP Start Up AB celebrates 30 years in business this year and has grown to over 70 employees by recruiting individuals with high technical competence and strong commitment. We are now looking for a Power Engineer who wants to contribute to our continued success journey. The projects span across the globe, but you will be based in Sweden and have the opportunity to work with leading technology in power engineering.

As a Power Engineer, you will:

• Conduct testing and commissioning of energy and industrial facilities, both in new construction and renovation projects.
• Provide technical support and be a competent partner for our customers.
• Work with maintenance testing, installation, and configuration of relay protection.
• Independently drive projects from start to finish.
• Travel for work to complete exciting projects.

We hope you:

• Have worked with power engineering in industrial environments, such as substations or energy facilities.
• Enjoy working practically with tasks such as testing, commissioning, or troubleshooting.
• Have knowledge of relay protection and measuring equipment – or are eager to learn.
• Thrive on-site, close to the technology and in contact with customers.
• Are open to travel for work.
• Have a valid driver's license and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
• A prerequisite for employment is that you must undergo and pass a security classification. This classification is a requirement to perform the tasks and gain access to certain sensitive information and systems.

Meritorious

• Experience in selective calculation and dimensioning.
• Previous experience leading power engineering projects.

Other information

Employment type: You will be employed by APP Start Up AB. Start: According to agreement considering notice period. Extent: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Travel: Travel for work occurs, about once a month. Location: Stockholm/Uppsala/Mälardalen area.
