Since 1976, DISAB Vacuum Technology AB has focused on creating clean environments using vacuum technology. Today, they also work with vacuum technology to transport, recycle, and reuse materials through suction, blowing, and digging. Together, they develop a vacuum system, vacuum loader, or vacuum unit that fits your needs – installing, training, and ensuring it works year after year. About the position
As a traveling service technician, you will work in the field with troubleshooting, emergency service, and preventive maintenance of heavy vehicles with vacuum systems. In your work, you will read electrical diagrams and repair and assemble structures involving both hydraulics and pneumatics.
You will perform service at customer sites, but you will also travel to carry out work on-site. As you become more confident in the role, you will be given more opportunities for travel as the company has customers and offers its services throughout Sweden and in several other countries.

In your role as a service technician, your main tasks will include:

• Experience in repair and service of heavy vehicles (training is a plus)
• Knowledge of electrical/hydraulic systems and ability to read schematics
• Computer skills – able to write orders and work in CRM systems (Lime is an advantage), Pyramid, Excel, Outlook, and Word
• B driver's license (C driver's license and forklift license are advantageous)
• Able to work under stress during high workloads
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English
• Willingness to travel for work with overnight stays
• Self-driven, innovative, and solution-oriented
• Social and enjoys working in a team

Working hours are during the day and may vary. Overnight stays may occur up to 30 nights per year.

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in vehicles and mechanics. You have good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics and are eager to learn more. We prefer candidates with previous experience in similar fields, and a background as a car or truck mechanic is highly desirable.

Furthermore, we see that you are resilient, cooperative, and self-sufficient. You understand the importance of working efficiently while maintaining quality to ensure customer satisfaction. To succeed in this role, you have a strong ambition to expand your technical knowledge. Perhaps you have an education from a practical high school with a focus on vehicles/transport and are looking for a role where you can develop long-term.

You should also be/have:

• Solution-oriented and technically interested
• Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electricity
• Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
• C driver's license is advantageous but not required
• You hold a B driver's license
