About us
Welcome to Aleris Rehab Station and Day Rehab in Frösundavik. We provide qualified neurological rehabilitation and personal assistance in a beautiful environment in bright and airy premises in Hagaparken, with immediate proximity to Brunnsviken. Our operations are based on the knowledge and experience that Rehab Station has gained from working with neurological rehabilitation since 1987.
With us, you will meet patients with various neurological injuries or diseases in need of specialized rehabilitation. We work in teams in close collaboration around each individual patient. The team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehab instructors/assistants, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, and psychologists. At Rehab Station, there are approximately 15 occupational therapists working in our various teams. Our education unit, Academy, offers various diagnosis-oriented training and transfer training.
As our experienced occupational therapist colleague is going to further their studies, we are now looking for a new star with an interest in neurology to join our wonderful Day Rehab team in outpatient care focusing on neurological rehabilitation.
The Role
Together with experienced colleagues, you will be part of the team around the patient and be responsible for driving the rehabilitation process in such a way that the patient regains or maintains the highest possible independence and quality of life. As an occupational therapist, you will be part of a multimodal team that works closely together around each patient. The tasks are varied and consist of assessment and treatment/training of activity ability, cognition, hand function, and assistive device prescription. Training occurs both individually and in groups. The work also includes some patient education and supervision of students.

About you
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, and it is meritorious if you have experience working in neurological rehabilitation. As a person, you are engaged, flexible, resourceful, and see opportunities instead of difficulties. You have a professional demeanor, are attentive, and put the patient in focus by being driven to inspire and motivate patients in health-promoting work. Since we work in teams as well as independently, it is important that you are a team player with a good ability to prioritize and have an interest in development and innovative thinking to find solutions. Through your commitment, professional approach, and communicative ability, you create good relationships with both your colleagues and our patients. We place great emphasis on a professional demeanor and personal suitability.
Employment Conditions
- Employment type: Temporary position until 26-08-31 with good opportunities for extension
- Scope: Full-time
- Start date: By agreement
- Salary: Individual salary setting
