About us

Within production at Scania in Södertälje, we assemble all vehicle components — from engines, front and rear axles, gearboxes, and bus and truck chassis — until the finished vehicle rolls out for delivery to the customer. It is an exciting process to be part of, and as an assembler on one of our production lines, you are an important player in the chain.

About the role

As an assembler, you are responsible for assembling various components and systems within one of our production units. The work often takes place in teams where everyone is responsible for meeting quality requirements. You will also have the opportunity to actively participate in improvement work and contribute new ideas and solutions.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, it is important to be a team player who takes initiative when needed. As a person, you prioritize safety and are receptive to feedback. You value team spirit and have an outgoing and positive attitude towards your surroundings.

You also have:

• Completed upper secondary education or at least 1 year of work experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good physical condition as the work involves a high pace and heavy tasks
• Ability to work shifts
• Very good conditions to reach the workplace based on the different shifts

Previous experience in industry and production is an advantage.
