Rekal, specialists in hygiene and cleaning, has been providing professional users in the restaurant, hotel, and healthcare sectors with cleaning and disinfection systems since 1987. In Rekal's modern production facility in the heart of Sörmland, products are developed and produced that are well adapted for the Nordic market and the high demands placed on them.

As a junior chemist with us, you will be offered an exciting role where you will work with varied tasks and responsibilities. You will be involved in the questions that the development department handles and participate in collaborations with colleagues throughout the company in our effort to reach the market with new products of high quality. ABOUT THE POSITION

Main responsibilities/tasks include:

- Laboratory work on various projects

- Support product developers/senior chemists with lab work

- Write safety data sheets in our IT tool

- Create label texts in IT tools

- Check incoming documents on chemicals

- Calibration of laboratory instruments

- Updating documents (e.g., formulations, product sheets)

- Review of environmental requirements in public procurement

- Environmental assessment of purchased products

- Documentation and administrative tasks 

YOUR PROFILE

 We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in chemistry or similar

- Experience from the manufacturing chemical industry is an advantage, but recent graduates are also welcome to apply.

- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
