JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Strategist focusing on Digitalization and Welfare Technology in the Staff Unit, you will work both strategically and operationally and drive various types of projects.

Your main responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for digitalization and welfare technology that support the municipality's overall goals. You will work proactively in close collaboration with the Head of Staff, operational managers, quality developers, and other employees within the area of digitalization and welfare technology as well as the area of Close Care.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• Develop, drive, and implement strategies for digitalization and welfare technology that support the municipality's overall goals
• Identify needs and opportunities for digital solutions within welfare services for our operational areas Elderly Care, Support Services, and Individual and Family Care.
• Drive and lead various projects and initiatives within the division and together with other actors and organizations
• Develop guidelines and policy documents for the use of welfare technology
• Lead and develop the division's digitalization forum
• Have the overall picture of digitalization related to the area of Close Care

You are expected to lead and drive the work with digitalization and welfare technology forward in a structured and engaged manner, as well as involve and collaborate with others.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in one or more of the areas of IT, Technology, Social Sciences, Digitalization, Organizational Development, or another relevant area that the employer deems relevant
• Several years of experience working with digitalization and welfare technology, preferably within the public sector
• Documented experience in leading projects and driving digitalization work
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing operations in a municipality
• In-depth knowledge of welfare technology and its applications within public operations

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

• Practical experience in the area of Close Care
• Experience in project management within the public sector

Personal qualities that you need for the position:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good social and communication skills to build trust and manage conflicts
• Good ability to express yourself very well both orally and in writing in Swedish
• Ability to visualize and present complex ideas clearly and pedagogically
• Ability to work independently and systematically with multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Very good ability to lead yourself and plan your time and tasks
• Flexible and adaptable to meet changes and new challenges
