We are currently looking for personal assistants for our client, a 6-year-old boy living in Södermalm.  You will be working with me, an active little boy who enjoys buses, cars, trains, play, and fun. During the time I am not in school, I need an adult nearby who can interpret and support, listen, and initiate.  I need help with personal hygiene such as toilet visits, showering, dressing and undressing, mobility, during meal situations, and initiating play and interaction. My needs will likely involve heavy lifting on your part. Therefore, you need to be physically fit.

I have my own communication style. You need to be creative, attentive, and observant of both my subtle signals and my body language.

What does the job of a personal assistant entail? 

As a personal assistant, you work with a person with a functional variation. You help with the things in daily life that many take for granted, such as dressing, personal hygiene, and participating in leisure activities. You make a significant difference and help another person's daily life function.

Your workplace is wherever the client is, and the job is both varied and eventful. Contributing every day to help a person live their life as they wish is, in our opinion, the most important job in the world.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• have experience with children.
• be able to understand and be understood in Swedish.
• be able to work flexible hours - day, evening, and weekend.
• have experience in care and assistance. (This is a plus, but not a requirement).
• be physically fit.

Extent: Part-time

Start date: September 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.

Before a possible employment, you also need to submit a criminal record extract.
