Raoul Wallenberg School Bagartorp was established in 2021 and has approximately 520 students in grades 6-9. The school is located in the Bagartorp district, which is undergoing strong development, and operates under the motto “The school in the village.” Nearby, we have our preschool, RWF Järvastaden, with over 200 children and our F-5 school, RWS Järvastaden, with over 700 students. We have a health profile at the school and see movement as a prerequisite for learning. Well-being leaders are responsible for organizing activities during breaks.

We are now looking for a special educator!

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed special educator/special teacher. In your role, you will be responsible for the school's investigations, follow-ups, and evaluations of work with students in need of special support. Together, you will ensure that the documentation regarding students and interventions is accurate, and you will coordinate external contacts that need to be made around students. You will act as support to teachers regarding extra adaptations, pedagogical investigations, and the establishment and evaluation of action programs.

You will also guide teachers and often be present in classrooms to meet students and teachers during lessons. In the team around you and your colleague, there are also studio staff, school nurses, career counselors, social workers, and school management.

You are communicative and have an easy time building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are expected to have experience and knowledge of handling modern ICT tools. We place great importance on collaboration skills and personal suitability. Your ability to interest, inspire, and engage is highly valued, as is your flexibility. It is also very important that you are structured and independent.
