The volume of both employed and conscripted personnel is expected to increase in the coming years, and to meet the growth of especially conscripted personnel at Blekinge Air Force Wing, we are now looking for someone who wants a meaningful job and contribute to Sweden's security in uncertain times.

26th Company

The main task of the company is military basic training for the majority of the conscripted personnel belonging to Blekinge Air Force Wing. In addition, the company annually handles several state ceremonial tasks and readiness tasks and conducts exercises and training with our continuously employed personnel.

About the position

The position of instructor means that you, as part of a platoon unit, plan and conduct training for conscripts. The job is varied and will take place both at the unit and at training and shooting ranges. You will develop in your role as an instructor in the Armed Forces and be given the opportunity to lead certain specific training such as combat training and position training. The position also includes troop leadership in the role. We continuously work with FKY at the company, and you will be trained and developed towards the next position that is relevant for your officer category.

Finally, you are a role model for both conscripts and colleagues and follow the Armed Forces' values and code of conduct. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability.

Employment form: permanent employment. Military position (OF1/OR6-7). Begins with a 6-month probationary period if you are not currently employed in the Armed Forces.

Employment rate: 100%

Salary: Individual salary setting based on FM salary structure.

Work location: Kallinge, travel and service in other locations may occur.

Start date: By agreement, but no later than 2025-08-01.

Information about the Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:

Blekinge Air Force Wing trains three combat units; two fighter squadrons with Jas 39 Gripen and a base unit. The fighter squadrons are an important part of protecting Sweden's airspace, known as incident readiness. The base unit is the largest combat unit that contains everything needed to get Gripen aircraft in the air. This includes maintenance of the aircraft, protection of the base, logistics, and operation of the airfield. The wing also trains the Air Force's only ranger unit, the airbase rangers. Their tasks include gathering information through reconnaissance and protecting the personnel and vehicles of the air combat forces.
