A Nordic tech team is looking for an experienced developer to strengthen its work with a modern, cloud-based video platform. The assignment is central to how video is experienced, distributed, and personalized across multiple digital brands and markets. You will work in an engaged and knowledgeable team that drives the development of video formats, metadata management, and market scaling.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-native video infrastructure with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, etc.)
• Build and improve tools for video distribution, metadata flows, and personalization
• Participate in strategic initiatives within vertical video formats, unified metadata, and platform adaptation for multiple markets
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the team and contribute both to planning and coding

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong experience with cloud-based infrastructure and service-oriented architecture
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, focusing on Node.js and React
• The ability to take responsibility, collaborate effectively, and contribute to the team's direction
• Experience working in distributed teams with good communication
• Experience from media, video, or streaming platforms

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of video technology (e.g., HLS, JW Player, DAM/MAM systems)
• Understanding of DevOps or a particular interest in GCP environments
• Experience analyzing problems in depth and improving long-term solutions
• Previous work with advertising solutions, editorial tools, or video personalization
