Skeppa Rederi operates in the Tjust archipelago with two vessels owned by Västervik Municipality and operated by Skeppa Rederi.

We are now looking for deck staff for the summer of 2025.

The position involves working on passenger boats during daytime and evening hours, weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

Profile

As a person, you are responsible and driven. You are the face of the company and the first person our passengers meet when they board. You should be comfortable meeting people and able to answer questions and assist those traveling with us.

Your duties will include being responsible for onboard sales, cleaning the boat, ensuring it meets our standards, and working closely with the captain to ensure passengers have a safe and pleasant journey. You will also serve as safety personnel on board and should feel comfortable working under responsibility.

It is important that you are attentive and have good collaboration and initiative skills as we are a small team. Therefore, we place great importance on your personal qualities.

If you are offered a position with us, we will provide you with the necessary safety training.

Meritorious

• Good local knowledge.
• Experience on the water is a plus but not required
• Similar tasks in service professions

Employment Conditions

The employment is seasonal from June to August with the possibility of re-employment in the following season. Some work may occur before and after the season as needed.
