Chef at the Enchanting Villa Fridhem

We are now looking for a Chef who wants to join us in creating a culinary journey and reach for the stars at the fantastic Villa Fridhem!

Villa Fridhem is not just a boutique hotel; it is a place where historic charm meets modern comfort. Located in the heart of Kolmården's forests with a magnificent view over the sparkling waters of Bråviken, we strive to create memorable experiences for our guests. We have a clear goal to become a destination for food and drink, where the Michelin Guide will be the proof of our ambition and effort.

About the Role

As a chef with us, you are a central part of the kitchen's daily operations. You work closely with the head chef and the rest of the kitchen team, as well as with the serving staff and colleagues from other departments in the hotel. You contribute to creating menus and developing routines, always striving for success and improving your skills.

At Villa Fridhem, the interaction with the chefs plays an important role in the guests' experience. Therefore, you are often present in our dining rooms, where you serve food and present menus. This requires excellent social skills and a strong interest in service and guest relations.

Your Profile

You have a passion for your profession, a keen eye for detail, and a strong desire to face new challenges and develop in your culinary art. You are skilled at all stations in the kitchen and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with others.

You understand that the guest experience is about the whole, and you are ready to share your expertise and experiences to enhance this perspective even beyond the kitchen's boundaries. You are positive, unpretentious, and efficient, but above all, you are eager to be part of a journey that creates a guest experience that goes beyond the ordinary. We highly value attitude and personal qualities.

Your Responsibilities

As our Chef, you are expected to:

  • Participate in the daily operations of the kitchen
  • Work closely with the head chef, kitchen team, serving staff, and other hotel personnel
  • Contribute to the creation of menus and routines
  • Strive for success and continuous development in daily work
  • Interact with guests in the dining rooms by serving food and presenting menus
  • Maintain high standards of social skills and guest relations
  • Work at all stations in the kitchen both independently and in a team
  • Ensure that the cooking maintains high quality and is detail-oriented
  • Rotate work between the restaurants Prins Carl and Aperitif
  • Work directly with guests in Aperitif throughout the service
