About the position of Head Waiter at Falkenberg Strandbad

In the role of Head Waiter at Falkenberg Strandbad, you are responsible for ensuring an outstanding guest experience in our restaurant environments. You lead and coach the service team, coordinate daily operations in the dining room, and are present on the floor to create a welcoming, personal, and professional impression. Together with our team, you work hands-on with service and drive sales through active and inclusive leadership.

Responsibilities – Head Waiter restaurant, service, and guest experience

• Lead and motivate the team during service to ensure the highest quality in guest interactions
• Plan, organize, and delegate tasks in the dining room
• Train and introduce new employees to routines, service, and products
• Work with active sales and constantly look for opportunities to exceed guest expectations
• Resolve challenges and handle complaints in a professional and personal manner
• Collaborate with the kitchen manager, restaurant manager, and other departments for seamless operations

Qualifications and experience for the role of Head Waiter

• Documented experience in service roles within hotels or restaurants
• Confident leader who coaches and inspires your team
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus)
• Ability to create structure and good routines even in a fast-paced environment
• Sees sales and service as a natural part of the workday
• We value both formal education and relevant work experience
