Willhem is looking for a caretaker in Stockholm

Are you handy and genuinely interested in helping people? Do you also enjoy alternating between practical work and some administration? Then this is the job for you! We are looking for a dedicated and solution-oriented caretaker for our area office in Fittja. The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period.

You will be based at our office in Fittja but spend large parts of your workday out in our properties. The property portfolio is mixed and consists of both new constructions and older properties spread over a relatively large geographical area south of Stockholm.

As a caretaker with us, you are the one who keeps an eye on the property and ensures that our tenants receive excellent service. Your main tasks are to troubleshoot, repair, and resolve issues that arise in our customers' apartments.

Your responsibilities include: 

- establishing and maintaining good relationships with tenants, contractors, and colleagues

- performing systematic rounds according to a set schedule

- conducting inspections during move-in and move-out

- planning and executing repairs and ongoing maintenance

- handling service requests, complaints, and claims, as well as providing feedback to tenants

- ordering and following up on property supplies and minor contracting work

- supervising ventilation, heating, and electrical systems in our properties

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education, preferably with a focus on, or further training in, technology and/or property management. You are a handy problem-solver with good knowledge and experience in at least some of the areas of plumbing, apartment inspections, fire safety, round work, construction, or electrical work. Furthermore, you have experience in customer-facing property work. You should be comfortable working with data systems, and a B driver's license is required.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. As a caretaker, you have a lot of control over your time, so we are looking for someone who is responsible and can prioritize. You have a strong drive and are encouraged to come up with ideas on how we can improve in your area. Your ability to work independently is good, but you also work well in a team as we place great emphasis on collaboration and helping each other. Our goal is to deliver excellent service to our tenants while being businesslike, so we are looking for someone who enjoys customer contact and likes the challenge of finding solutions that benefit both the customer and us as a company.
