The Role of Transport Manager

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing our transport flows from our cold storage in Näsum to sales locations and warehouses throughout southern Sweden.

You will work closely with our CEO, drivers, warehouse staff, and inside sales to ensure that our transports are carried out efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize the delivery of berries to our sales locations around southern Sweden based on Näsum, Bromölla Municipality.
• Plan and schedule transports. C and B trucks, Monday to Sunday, day and evening shifts.
• Ensure that transports depart on time and follow the planned route.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the trip.
• Monitor daily maintenance of the vehicle fleet.
• Contribute with a positive attitude and work to motivate the staff.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you have a background in transport or logistics, preferably with experience in transport planning or management.

We would like you to be able to work some evenings as many transports depart at night.

Your Skills

• Experience in the transport industry.
• Preferably experience in team leadership.
• Are punctual, disciplined, structured, and solution-oriented.
• Some experience in pallet handling.
• Swedish and English in speech and writing are required.
