Workshop Mechanic - Construction Machinery

We are looking for a resourceful all-round mechanic who wants to help take care of our client's machinery fleet. If you are flexible, enjoy working towards set goals, and like to contribute to the development of your workplace, then you are the one we are looking for. Additionally, if you are positive, responsible, service-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating with others, you will fit well with our client. The workshop is located in Sköndal.

Job Description

In the role of workshop mechanic, you will work with service, maintenance, and repairs of the client's machinery fleet. The vehicles you will work with include wheel loaders, excavators, and lawn mowers, among others, providing a wide variety of work vehicles. You will also help keep the workshop organized. Other tasks may include troubleshooting and repairs in the field, servicing machines, ordering materials, and conducting functionality checks. This role will be split 50/50 between fieldwork and working in the workshop with other colleagues. The work environment is characterized by collaboration and mutual support, where you are expected to assist your colleagues across various tasks.

Qualifications

We prefer candidates with a strong interest and commitment to vehicles and machinery. You should have prior experience working with construction machinery, and preferably also experience operating these machines. We are looking for someone who is driven, structured, and enjoys a varied work environment. Additionally, you should be resourceful and enjoy problem-solving.
