We are looking for a Greenkeeper at Gotska Golf Club!

Do you want to work in a beautiful natural environment and contribute to maintaining our 18-hole course to the standards our members demand? Gotska Golf Club, with approximately 600 members, is now seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Greenkeeper to join our team!

About Gotska Golf Club: Gotska Golf Club is a beautiful and well-renowned golf club located on Gotland. Just a few minutes from Visby city center, adjacent to the airport, lies the Jack Wenman course. A relatively open heathland course of Scottish character. The layout with slightly smaller greens and the ever-present wind requires you to care for your game to master the difficulties that may not initially seem so obvious.

Gotska Golf Club has approximately 600 members. This gives us the opportunity to offer our members and guests the chance to play golf almost whenever it suits them. To continue taking care of our course, we are now looking for a dedicated Greenkeeper to strengthen our team currently working out on the course.

Responsibilities

As a Greenkeeper, you will be responsible, together with others on the course, for:

· Turf care, mowing of various grass areas, trimming and maintenance of bunkers along with other staff

· Maintenance and servicing of the club's machinery

· Maintenance and ball picking on the driving range, maintenance around the clubhouse area, and minor property maintenance

· otherwise carry out what the Greenkeeper decides

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an interest in golf or experience in turf management.
• Is practical and has experience with machinery and tools.
• Enjoys working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Has a B driver's license (mandatory).
• Is responsible, meticulous, and has a positive attitude.

It is a plus if you have experience in similar work, but above all, we value your willingness to learn and commitment to creating a pleasant environment.
