"Cyclife Sweden AB is a company within the EDF group (Electricité De France), one of the world's largest employers and a major player in the energy sector. Cyclife is in a major growth phase and conducts nuclear activities at the Studsvik site outside Nyköping, currently employing 200 people. The company has unique specialist expertise in the decommissioning of radiological facilities and helps its customers minimize the environmental impact of their radiological activities. The Swedish facility is located in the archipelago outside Nyköping. We want you to have:

• Relevant post-secondary education
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B
• Prior industry experience is highly beneficial but not mandatory.

We are looking for someone who is structured and meticulous, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality support to the entire organization. You have a service-oriented approach and enjoy helping others, making you a valued resource in collaboration with different parts of the business. Furthermore, you are confident in your skills, meaning you know what is required in various situations and dare to make well-founded decisions when needed. Your social skills, which go hand in hand with your service-oriented nature, make it easy for you to build good relationships and contribute to a positive work environment.

As a radio physicist, you have a broad interface with a varied everyday life, a specialist with the customer in focus. The tasks are very diverse and challenging. For example, it could be:

• Technical advisor in marketing work on new analysis methods
• Evaluate proposed methods
• Evaluate and report gamma spectrometric measurements
• Define the analysis needs in a customer order
• Support the organization in nuclide calculations needed in production and transport aspects
• Quality-assure calculations used in activity determination
• Set up energy calibrations for gamma
• Troubleshoot and handle instruments.

With the right experience and skills, there is the opportunity to contribute to the development of new measurement geometries, where modeling and innovative solutions can be part of the work. Furthermore, you may have a central role in ensuring the quality of and contributing to the development of radiological measuring equipment, which is an important area for the business. In addition, there may be opportunities to work on training within the organization, where you share your knowledge and strengthen the competence of colleagues.
