About the Position

We are now looking for several dedicated and skilled Field Service Technicians to join our team! As a Field Service Technician at Prima Power, you will be a key person in our technical service team providing support to our customers on-site, via phone, and email. You will travel to customer locations in Sweden and Norway to conduct training, installations, repairs, and maintenance of both hardware and software.

Job Description

• Diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repairs.
• Inspect machines both mechanically and electrically and perform repairs by disassembling machines and rebuilding them.
• Perform software updates on HMI and PLC.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problem products.
• Document product issues and solutions in detail.

We are looking for someone who is technically proficient and has experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems, as well as knowledge in electrical measurement and inspection techniques, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and software diagnostics.

Preferred qualifications include experience as a field service technician in the machine tool industry and knowledge of CNC programming.
