VardagaVilla Ryd is now looking for a kitchen assistant to cook food for the residents at the elderly home. The position is 75% and is from Monday to Friday.

In addition, the position includes routine tasks related to the kitchen such as cleaning and self-monitoring of food. The role also involves placing orders based on the menu planning, receiving deliveries, and providing educational support during meals. We are looking for someone who is driven, creative, and has a great interest in food and nutrition.

About Villa RydVardaga is responsible for the operation of Villa Ryd on behalf of Linköping municipality. The elderly home has 21 apartments and is located in a scenic area with a beautiful garden near Ryd center.

Here, we actively work to create the best possible conditions for people affected by dementia to receive good care and support based on their own needs.

Your experience and knowledgeWe prefer that you have experience as a kitchen assistant with basic knowledge of special diets and good Swedish language skills. It is a merit if you have basic knowledge of the Swedish Food Agency's hygiene regulations and Vardaga's concept "Food like home". As a person, you are service-oriented, creative, and responsible. You value good teamwork and strive to create high-quality meals for our residents. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
