We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Second Engineer who wants to join our crew at SCA Östrand.

SCA Östrand is one of three sister ships operating in liner traffic in northern Europe, and as a Second Engineer, you will work together with the Chief Engineer, repairman, and technical chief.

Salary according to collective agreement.

1:1 system with 4-6 week shifts agreed upon with your relief.

Full-time - 6-month substitute position that may lead to permanent employment if both parties are satisfied.

Who are you?

To be considered for the Second Engineer position, you are required to have:

• Engine Officer Class V
• Valid STCW certificates (BST, AFF, Designated Security Duties, Medical First Aid)
• Valid Medical Certificate for Seafarers
• A good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

It is advantageous if you have:

• Higher qualifications/education
• Experience with AMOS

You enjoy being part of a team and can also work independently. You have a genuine interest in the work and care about colleagues as well as the progress of the vessel. You are responsible and a problemsolver, with good communication skills.
