We are now looking for a knowledgeable and driven team leader for Hundhjälpen at Upplands dog daycare. Here, together with your colleagues, you will have the opportunity to give our dogs really good days. You will have a lot of responsibility and great opportunity to influence, while also receiving support and guidance. You will work in a place where everyone is passionate about dogs and their well-being. All our activities are based on an evidence-based approach to learning, and the dog daycare is no exception.

About the role

As a team leader, you will be responsible for maintaining the high quality of the dog daycare. Every day, all daycare dogs should have a balance between physical and mental activation, and of course plenty of rest. A calm and safe daycare is always a priority, and all employees are collectively responsible for achieving this. The position is 75-100%.

Responsibilities

* Participate in the daily activities at the daycare with dog walks, dog activation, opening/closing of the daycare, and cleaning.

* Lead staff.

* Scheduling, approving salaries, emails, and contract writing.

* Book and supervise interns.

* Responsible for routines regarding intake of new dogs and ensuring that the dogs at the daycare are well and happy.

* Handle purchases for the café and shop.

* Always strive for and actively work towards a calm and quiet daycare with high quality for both dogs, employees, and customers.

* Address tasks that may arise in the other operations.

* As a team leader at Hundhjälpen in Upplands Hunddagis, you represent the entire business.

Qualifications

* Relevant education in dogs and/or dog daycare and experience working with dogs.

* Knowledge of a modern and reward-based approach to dogs.

* Driven by taking own initiatives and having a lot of responsibility.

* Good communication and teamwork skills and see good customer service as a given.

* Ability to organize, plan, and administer.

Preferred qualifications

* Being a trained instructor with experience in instructional work.
