We are expanding and are therefore looking for another colleague based in Uppsala.

About the role:

In the role of Customer Manager, you will act as an intermediary to our customers such as farmers, treatment plants, industries, and biogas plants. You will independently drive your work and dialogue with customers, while having an engaged and knowledgeable team behind you. You will be responsible for sales and mediation of by-products for recycling in the cycle.

As a Customer Manager, you will work both to develop new customers and to nurture existing ones. You will also develop relationships with authorities, contractors, and transporters.

The job entails an exciting and varied everyday life where you will work both in the field and from the office. Your work area primarily covers the Mälardalen region, which means that travel is included in the job, sometimes with overnight stays. A B driver's license is required, and a company car will be provided. The position is a permanent employment with a start date to be agreed upon. A probationary period may be applied at the start of employment.

Your profile:

We are looking for a relationship builder with a strong interest and knowledge in agriculture. If you have previous experience in building long-term customer relationships in an advisory or sales role towards farmers, it is a significant advantage. We prefer that you have knowledge in agronomy and a basic understanding of the processes within plant nutrition. Practical experience from farming is highly meritorious for the role.

You likely have a university degree as an agronomist, agricultural manager, farm manager, or agricultural technician, or have acquired equivalent practical knowledge in crop production in another way.

You are skilled in communicating both verbally and in writing and building relationships with customers. Furthermore, you thrive in a role where you have the opportunity to work in the field as well as with planning and documentation. As a person, you have a positive attitude, are flexible, and have the ability to take initiatives and drive your work forward. You are also experienced in handling the Office suite and digital tools.
