Engineer with focus on energy optimization for Region Blekinge

About us

A major effort is underway to shape the future of healthcare in Blekinge. Over a ten-year period, Region Blekinge will build new facilities, develop work methods and technology to meet the future needs of healthcare and social care.

The mission of Regionservice is to develop and deliver support and services to all operations in Region Blekinge. The operations are organized in areas responsible for properties, logistics, meals and local cleaning, as well as management and operational support. Within the Regionfastigheter unit, there is the eastern property management department with around 20 employees.

About the role

As an engineer with a focus on energy optimization, you will work on continuous energy monitoring and optimization at the building level in both existing and new buildings. You will conduct digital and physical rounds and develop proposals for and implement energy efficiency measures.

About you

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree focusing on energy optimization, or equivalent qualifications and experience deemed equivalent by the employer. It is advantageous if you have professional experience in working with energy optimization in larger building stocks and knowledge of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.

It is important to us that you are interested in the development within the field of work and that you contribute with innovative thinking and take initiatives for improvements. As a person, you are responsible with a good ability to plan your work both in the long and short term. You have a high focus on safety and good judgment.
