Your Role

We are now looking for mobile crane operators for our unique production of the latest technology submarines and surface vessels at one of the world's most modern shipyards.

Your role will be a combination of working as a mobile crane operator and working within facility services belonging to the Heavy Lifting and Transport section.

You will have several different tasks and your workdays will vary depending on where we are in a maintenance project or new construction project.

As an employee in heavy lifting, you will encounter a very varied job where each specific lift is carefully planned according to the conditions that exist. The work involves various tasks with cranes, hoists, forklifts, and skylifts.

Safety focus, coordination skills, and collaboration with other professional groups are important in the job. In your role, you will have close cooperation with colleagues to perform the complex work correctly. We see that you who apply are a team player but also that you can lead your peers in smaller projects if required.

Your Profile

We believe that you are a person who has a lot of practical experience from various roles in your professional life, including certification as a mobile crane operator.

Requirements

• Professional certificate to operate a mobile crane (BYN/RYK or TYA)
• Driving license category B and C
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
