About the Position
It all starts in the forest – and it keeps starting over. Södra Skog works with purchasing renewable forest raw materials from our over 50,000 members and delivering it to Södras various industries. We work closely with our members in their forestry, sharing their challenges and helping them create both increased climate benefits and higher profitability. Our work also includes the development of digital support and new forestry services.
For over 50 years, Södra has worked with plant production and invested heavily to develop the best plant material for southern Swedish conditions. Now there is an opportunity to be part of our journey in the role of Supply Planner!
What You Will Work on at Södra
As a Supply Planner, you will work closely with our nurseries and other functions to ensure the balance between supply and demand for plants. Your tasks will mainly consist of planning and coordinating flows, involving many internal and external contacts.
Your tasks include:
- Forecasting and Planning: Contribute to the work with sales forecasts, production forecasts, sowing plans in the longer term, and tactical production plans and weekly plans for plant deliveries in the shorter term.
- Quality and Sustainability: Conduct supplier audits together with cultivation leaders/cultivation specialists and ensure high quality in our plant deliveries.
- Business: Procure plants and contract services from external suppliers.
- Meeting Forums: Lead both operational, tactical, and strategic meetings with production units, suppliers, the logistics department, and forestry managers to ensure balance between demand and supply as well as effective flow planning.
- Manage Deviations: Plan the weekly flow of deliveries and handle deviations to ensure continuity and efficiency.
The position is a permanent full-time employment, based at our Nursery in Falkenberg.

This means you need to feel comfortable making decisions, sometimes without complete information, and that you have a good ability to prioritize. At Södra, people and culture are at the center, and you as a candidate are an empathetic colleague who recognizes the value of good relationships and collaboration. You have a good communicative ability with a solution-oriented approach. We also see that you thrive in being able to independently deliver against set goals.
