The Challenge We Offer

Within our Vehicle Motion and Thermal Management stream, we lead the development of comprehensive motion, energy, and thermal control solutions that prioritize safety, sustainability, and efficiency. We’re now seeking a Function Developer specializing in Vehicle Motion Control to join our Performance & Prediction Team. Here, you’ll be at the forefront of traction control software development, bringing new ideas to life in a supportive, high-performing team environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of traction sub-systems and their end-to-end functions, and contribute to the design and development of embedded software in a global context.
  • Collaborate with a skilled development team to create and enhance software platforms using Jenkins, CI/CD, C, C++, and MATLAB.
  • Work closely with Functional Owners to analyze requirements, translate them into solutions, and ensure smooth integration of new capabilities.
  • Take the lead in developing low-level software designs, providing technical guidance, and driving feature realization.
  • Write stories, estimate work packages, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the robustness of the software and document the code for release in ECU systems.

You have a natural curiosity for innovation and a desire to take ownership of your work, seeing projects through from concept to implementation. With your problem-solving mindset, you can navigate complex challenges and turn ideas into reality.

We Think You’ll Excel If You Have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in software development and/or mechatronic system design within the automotive industry.
  • A solid understanding of vehicle dynamics, motion control systems, and state estimation techniques.
  • Experience with ISO26262 standards in system design and software development.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
  • A passion for continuous learning and the drive to build and contribute to a high-performing team.

Additional skills that would be great:

  • Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, C, and C++.
  • A truck driving license (C/CE) for a practical understanding of the systems you’ll work on.
