Teacher for the After-School Program – Töjnaskolan is looking for someone who wants to make a difference!

Do you want to help shape a safe, meaningful, and creative everyday life for our students – both during and after school hours? At Töjnaskolan, we are now looking for an engaged teacher for the after-school program, and we welcome you to apply if you are:

• Teacher in after-school programs
• Preschool teacher or
• Elementary teacher grades F–6

About the position

As part of our after-school program, you will be an important piece of the puzzle in the students' entire school day.

You will work in a relationship-building and enjoyable way to support the students' development, curiosity, and learning in both teaching and after-school activities. We believe in the power of the after-school program as an arena for both social and knowledge development, where you play a key role.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to children's development and sees the pedagogical opportunities of the after-school program. Whether you are a qualified teacher in after-school programs, a preschool teacher, or an elementary teacher grades F–3 or 3–6, we see that you have a student focus in everything you do and are confident in your leadership role.

You have:

• Teacher certification (or are in the final stages of your education).
• A professional approach with the ability to create good relationships.
• Drive to develop and renew the activities together with others.
• The ability to adapt teaching and activities based on the needs and interests of the student group.
• Experience working in after-school programs and schools.

Desirable qualifications:

• Qualification to teach subjects such as music and art
• More than 3 years of experience in after-school programs
• Experience and knowledge of ICT work both in teaching and administration
