This autumn, we have commissioned Kristianstad Municipality's new central treatment plant, one of Europe's most modern facilities with the capacity to allow Kristianstad and its surrounding area to grow responsibly beyond 2050.

The Water and Sewage Department consists of around 60 employees, of which the production unit that is now looking for a new colleague accounts for about 25 of them. We place great emphasis on our work environment and continuously work to improve our conditions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a coordinator at the central treatment plant, you will work with the starting point in the treatment process as well as operational and maintenance tasks. You will be based at the Central Treatment Plant.

The content of the position is varied, and based on your own responsibility, you will influence the organization of the work. Together with the operations manager and coordinators for external facilities, you will form the backbone of the operational management of Kristianstad Municipality's wastewater management.

Your daily routine will alternate between routine tasks, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, along with development work and planning for future challenges. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other colleagues in the operations organization. On-call duty is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have relevant higher education or vocational training, or a high school education combined with experience that is deemed equivalent to education by the employer. We want you to have work experience in the operation of treatment plants. Additionally, documented experience in a supervisory role at treatment plants is an advantage.

Since communication and documentation are part of the job, you need to be able to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. You are comfortable with digital tools and use them naturally in your work. You need to have a B driver's license for manual transmission to get around our municipality if necessary.

OTHER

The Technical Committee is responsible through the technical administration for the development, construction, and management of the municipality's public spaces and buildings. The committee also has the task of organizing municipal water and sewage supply (VA) and is the road authority for the municipal roads.
