ICA Maxi Botkyrka is looking for a Baker / Pastry Chef!

About the store Maxi ICA Stormarknad Botkyrka is a personal and family-friendly store where customers can easily find everything they need under one roof. The store is easily accessible by public transport and by car, located in Botkyrka south of Stockholm, with direct access to the E4. We have our own staff parking, access to the subway's red line, and good bus connections.

About the position We are looking for a driven and passionate baker/pastry chef for our bakery. You will be an important part of our team consisting of about 10 bakers and pastry chefs. We bake everything from scratch in the store, which allows us to offer our customers freshly made products of the highest quality.

In the bakery, a production schedule is followed, which means that the work primarily involves producing baked goods in large volumes. Therefore, it is important that you can maintain a balance between craftsmanship and efficiency – for us, it is equally important to create products with finesse as it is to deliver them on time.

Responsibilities

• Production of cakes, pastries, and other products such as bread and sweet bread.
• Plan and manage orders as needed.
• Drive sales by ensuring high quality and attractive presentation.

About you We are looking for someone who is a trained pastry chef and has experience in both pastry and bakery. You are a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and can work efficiently. To succeed in the role, you are unpretentious, collaborative, and passionate about creating fantastic products that are appreciated by our customers.

Requirements for the position

• Education in bakery & pastry.
• Experience working in a bakery or pastry shop.

Desirable for the position

• Experience working as a pastry chef in retail.

About the employment

The position is part-time at about 16 hours per week. We are also looking for part-time staff for the bakery, please indicate in your application if you are interested in full-time or part-time. Working hours are weekdays during the day, with the earliest start time at 05:00 and the latest end time at 17:00. Weekend work is included. Employment and salary are covered by the retail agreement.
