Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you support the individual in their home, based on the user's needs and wishes. Job responsibilities include practical tasks, personal care, medical interventions, leisure activities, and social contacts. You will be the support that the user needs to participate in all activities as much as possible and to ensure that the user has a good quality of life.

Qualifications

You have completed education from the nursing program, child and youth program, or a 1-year personal assistance training. Applicants with other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent may be considered for employment. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken. The work should be characterized by a pedagogical approach to support the user in maintaining their skills as much as possible. It is important that you feel secure in your professional role and can act professionally. We also expect you to be social, attentive, and proactive in activities with the user. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

The work as a personal assistant requires good physical condition in terms of strength, endurance, and mobility. Since the work requires documentation, it is desirable that you have good computer skills.

A manual B driver's license is required, as well as your own car. Travel compensation is provided according to agreement for work-related travel.

More about the positions

This is a combination position where you will work with two different users located in Jävre and Öjebyn. Both users are wheelchair-bound with active leisure activities based on their circumstances. Mostly double staffing. A cat is present in one of the households.

This is a permanent position with shifts during the day, evening, and weekends, with an employment rate of about 80%. Start date by agreement. Full-time employment may be offered. You will primarily work in these two cases but may need to work in other cases/operations where needed.
