We are looking for a qualified teacher for leisure activities, leisure leader, or leisure educator who is positive and attentive to the needs of students and the organization. We place great emphasis on personal suitability based on our needs and conditions.

Our leisure center consists of three departments, each led by a leisure leader who, together with the leisure coordinator, forms a coordinating group. We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of this coordinating group and a driving force in developing our leisure activities for students in grades F-6 together with our dedicated team of leisure educators.

Your mission as an educator with us will make you a central part of the students' school day and leisure time. With your clear leadership and ability to highlight each child's unique strengths, you will serve as a safe and positive role model.

You will work closely with teaching staff to support individual students and smaller student groups in their learning and social development.

At leisure, we create activities that engage and challenge children, both in free play and in more structured forms. An important part of the mission is also to develop and drive our recess activities, where you inspire students with creative and meaningful activities.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong leadership: You are confident in your role as a leader and have a natural ability to inspire and motivate children and colleagues.
• Has previous experience working with younger children, preferably in preschool or school/leisure activities, and knows what is required to meet their needs.
• Is open-minded and flexible: You can adapt to different situations and are happy to come up with creative solutions to challenges.
• Is passionate about working with children and has a genuine passion for their development, well-being, and safety.
• Has good communication skills and collaborates well with both students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Is structured and efficient, with the ability to prioritize and express yourself well in both speech and writing, in both Swedish and English.

Engelska Skolan Novia is part of the organization Engelska skolor och förskolor AB, where today 220 people work across three primary schools and four preschools.
