Rosersberg Prison is located north of Stockholm and is a security class 2 prison with about 100 places, as well as a remand facility with approximately 50 places for detainees awaiting deportation from the country.

The mission of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service is to prepare individuals who are deprived of their liberty for a life without crime and drugs. For clients placed in the prison, there are daytime activities such as work in the wood industry, studies in basic/high school education, and other types of activities to better equip them for life outside the walls.

We are about 130 employees who together run Rosersberg Prison and Remand. If you drive, parking is free; if you prefer to take the commuter train, Rosersberg is only a 10-minute walk from the station.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a cook, you will work in the kitchen of Rosersberg Prison and be part of a team of 5 people. The kitchen staff at Rosersberg Prison prepares meals for all detainees and staff, approximately 250 people. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect you and others. • Experience mentoring people in a socially vulnerable situation.

We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. To work with us, you need to undergo a security check in accordance with the Security Protection Act. For this position, a security interview will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. During the security check, you will be investigated as a person, your background, and your relationships from a security perspective.
