We work with making urgent home visits, providing home care for patients who need hospital-like care, and coordinating care and support efforts in an acute situation. The care we offer is specialized based on each individual patient's needs, and the goal is to provide patients with qualified care both medically and psychosocially.

Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality and professional care through security and high availability, with the mission to be a complement to other care providers. We have the privilege of visiting patients and their relatives in their homes, which gives us the opportunity to be creative with solutions for patients who wish to receive care at home when it is the appropriate level of care to provide such care. With us, three specialist doctors work in general medicine, oncology, and internal medicine, in an organization with experienced nurses, a social worker, and a medical secretary. When you, as a doctor, make home visits, you always have a nurse and/or social worker with you during the visit. We staff the team between 08:00 and 17:00 every day of the week, and there is an opportunity for weekend work. There is also the possibility to combine with another position, for example, at a health center or other assignments. The team is available every day from 08:00 to 17:00.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking forward to welcoming a specialist doctor who is engaged and interested in developing close care in a positive and inspiring environment. As a doctor, you will work with home visits and lead and participate in the planning of care together with the team. Your tasks will consist of both planned and urgent home visits.

You will also collaborate with other care providers and partners to ensure the best possible care for the patient. The patient receives medical assessment and treatment at home that would otherwise have been performed in the hospital. Participation in the development and improvement work of the organization is also part of the job responsibilities. There is an opportunity for supervision of ST doctors eventually, so it is important that you enjoy sharing your knowledge and mentoring younger colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have specialist competence in general medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, or another equivalent specialty. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. It is a requirement for the position that you have a valid B driver's license, as care is mainly provided in patients' homes. If you have experience from similar work, it is an advantage. Furthermore, you are accustomed to assessing the level of care for sometimes seriously ill patients. We see it as advantageous that you have experience with the medical record systems PMO, Melior, and Pascal.

You are secure in your professional role, have a person-centered approach, and appreciate working in a team. Part of the work involves support and conversations, so you must be communicative and have the ability to meet people at different stages of life. Additionally, you have a flexible approach to solving the day's work layout. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
