Information Coordinator at Etteplan

In the role of Information Coordinator at Etteplan, you will play a key role with their clients in large hydropower projects, acting as the spider in the web between the client, project managers, and suppliers. ABOUT THE POSITION

Etteplan is an international technology consulting company that works with everything from product development to technical information and embedded systems. In Karlstad, they are a dedicated team that daily helps clients, primarily in the energy and hydropower sector, to keep their technical projects flowing – literally.

They are now looking for an Information Coordinator who will work on a long-term assignment with one of their largest clients. To be considered, you need to have a strong ability to work in a structured, meticulous manner while maintaining a good overview of multiple projects simultaneously. The role starts as a consulting assignment through Academic Work for six months, with the aim of permanent employment at Etteplan.

You will work both at the client's site and at Etteplan's office in Karlstad. At the client site, you will work closely with their project managers and serve as an important support throughout the project lifecycle. The projects are long – often several years – which requires your ability to keep threads together over time. You are responsible for ensuring that the entire flow of the projects is delivered according to guidelines, templates, and processes, ensuring that documents are correctly structured and that nothing is overlooked along the way. In this role, you will also have contact with suppliers to ensure they understand what needs to be delivered and when.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • Support project managers with documentation and information issues
  • Ensure that documents are delivered according to requirements and standards
  • Adapt and follow up on document plans (master document lists)
  • Review final documentation from a formal perspective
  • Label and manage information in SharePoint
  • Communicate with suppliers about documentation requirements
  • Participate in project meetings and hold ongoing updates

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a technical education, preferably in electrical engineering, energy, or similar
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Has Swedish citizenship (requirement for security clearance, level 3)

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in information management or documentation work
  • Worked in SharePoint and/or Excel in a project environment
  • Experience from the energy sector, preferably hydropower
  • Understanding of technical procurement and requirement specification
