Your tasks

As a student employee, you are offered the opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into practice and gain valuable work experience. We are now looking for a student employee for the special public transport workgroup with an interest in customer satisfaction and data. Part of our mission is to measure customer satisfaction among citizens who have applied for transport services, national transport services, parking permits for the disabled, or mobility support, while we also work to streamline our processing.

As a student employee, you will be an important piece of the puzzle in these assignments. The task involves analyzing survey material consisting of responses from citizens and analyzing the work processes of case handlers. You will familiarize yourself with current laws and practices and learn to handle your own cases to increase your knowledge of the processing process from start to finish. As part of your assignment, contact with residents may occur, both in writing and by phone. The results of your assignment will be presented to the workgroup. You will become part of a close-knit group with a good atmosphere.

Your workplace

The Environmental and Community Building Administration consists of about 300 employees who work in various ways to develop and shape a sustainable and attractive Linköping.

You will be part of the Special Public Transport workgroup, consisting of five transport service case handlers and a group manager. Our main mission is to investigate, assess, and make decisions in administrative matters concerning transport services, national transport services, parking permits for the disabled, and mobility support.

Within the Support Unit, where special public transport is included, there are various competencies such as operational support, which involves answering citizen inquiries, IT issues related to the department's systems, and administrative tasks such as mail handling, archiving, and record-keeping.

Who we are looking for

Linköping Municipality collaborates with other municipalities and several municipal companies in the region regarding student employees. The concept is an agreement between all municipalities and Linköping University. To be employed as a student employee, you must begin your final year of a bachelor's, master's, or equivalent program.

We are therefore looking for you who will begin your final year in the autumn of 2025 in the social work program or your final year in a bachelor's, master's, or equivalent program with a focus on Social Sciences, Political Science, or a corresponding education deemed equivalent by the employer. It is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written, as the assignment involves answering citizen inquiries, analyzing, and presenting your work. It is desirable if you have good knowledge of Google Workplace. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have studied administrative law, social services legislation, or other legislation that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in processing and analyzing survey material is also an advantage.

You work well with complex issues, take responsibility for your work, and drive your processes forward. Furthermore, you work towards goals and results and are guided by results-oriented thinking in planning, prioritizing, and acting. You often come up with new ideas and approaches to work-related issues, as well as have innovative thinking that can be put into practice and leads to results.
