Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for Beyond Gravity

Are you an engaged and structured person with an interest in quality assurance and experience working with electronics? We are now looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to join our client's quality team.

About the Assignment

We are seeking an engaged and experienced Quality Assurance professional for our client Beyond Gravity to ensure the highest quality standards in their projects within the space industry. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring Quality Assurance & Product Assurance programs according to project milestones and customer requirements.

Furthermore, you will methodically lead and document deviation and failure investigations when product and/or process requirements are breached, and you will take responsibility for problem-solving and process improvements. Your task is to ensure that customer requirements are met by working with Key Inspection Point (KIP) and Mandatory Inspection Point (MIP).

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure that customer, regulatory, and internal requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Translate customer Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements into internal specifications and guidelines.
  • Lead root cause analyses (RCA) and investigations of critical quality issues both internally and in collaboration with the customer.
  • Moderate and conduct Design FMEA and Process FMEA.
  • Develop Process/Product CTQ and control plans in collaboration with the customer and engineering department.
  • Establish quality documentation for the product.
  • Support and ensure final product qualification.
  • Participate in customer and internal audits as a quality representative.

You will ensure that the final product qualification meets all requirements by delivering complete documentation. Additionally, you will establish the customer's root cause analyses (RCA) and deviation reports and ensure that MIP/KIP in production complies with applicable standards, such as ESA Cat.2 certification and/or IPC.

The assignment runs until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension.

About You

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, analytical, and have strong problem-solving skills. You work methodically and have an eye for detail while being able to see the bigger picture and understand how different processes affect each other.

Since the role involves close collaboration with both internal and external parties, communication skills and the ability to collaborate are crucial. You have experience and interest in technology and quality issues. You communicate and write fluent English.

Furthermore, you are responsible and driven, with the ability to independently lead quality activities and ensure that all requirements are met according to the timeline.

As the work involves quality standards within the space industry, it is also important that you are meticulous, regulatory-oriented, and have a high quality awareness.
