About the job
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in parts of Stockholm, with Stockholm Water and Waste as our client and partner. To strengthen the department, we are now looking for a dedicated and positive environmental worker with a C driver's license and YKB.

As an environmental worker, you play a key role in the company. You are the face of Verdis and one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Stockholm clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the waste management task is carried out in accordance with the company's routines and our client's requirements. You will be based at our depot in Älvsjö, in southern Stockholm, and report to the management.

Your tasks include:

• Collection and transport of waste with a rear-loading garbage truck
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance of vehicles and superstructures

Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a C driver's license and YKB who is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

The following experiences and skills are considered advantageous:

• Experience driving heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of heavy vehicles
• Experience in some form of waste collection
• Local knowledge (Stockholm city)

Employment type and extent: Permanent, full-time (probationary employment applies)
Working hours: We operate Monday to Friday, daytime between 06:00 and 15:00, including holidays and eves
