Hushållningssällskapet Skåne has been involved in the development of Swedish agriculture for 200 years, making us a reliable and stable employer with extensive knowledge. We support farmers and conduct a highly reputable field trial operation with approximately 450 trials a year, where quality and development are our guiding stars.

About the position

The focus of Hushållningssällskapet Skåne is to conduct crop trials with high scientific quality using modern equipment in all conceivable crops for the benefit and profitability of Swedish agriculture. Therefore, you will have an exciting role where the starting point of your work is to strive for quality and efficiency in all aspects.

As a machine operator with us, you will primarily work with driving and handling agricultural machinery, and some machine service and repairs may also occur. It is a varied job where each day is unique and the challenges are many. We conduct field trials in areas such as variety testing, plant protection, weed control, plant nutrition, soil cultivation, and more.

You will be part of a team that works closely together.

About you

To succeed and thrive with us, you have agricultural education or equivalent work experience. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position, and a BE license is desirable. If you have good knowledge of operating agricultural machinery and a spraying certificate, we consider it a strong merit. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience in machine service.

As a person, you have an interest in machinery with curiosity and a willingness to learn. Furthermore, we see that you have a great interest in crop production/agriculture. You are meticulous, engaged, and quality-conscious. You have the ability and enjoy working both independently and together with others. Of course, you are driven and enjoy challenges.

Location: At one of our trial stations in Kristianstad or Österlen.

The position starts as a probationary employment for 6 months.
