Main Responsibilities

- Maintenance and upkeep of the cemeteries

- Grave digging and burial

- Lawn mowing, snow removal, etc. at the parish properties.

- Service and repairs of machinery

- May include service to the parish's activities, including participation in certain church services

- Administration

Education/Experience

High school education or equivalent knowledge

You are welcome to have experience in gardening, park work, or similar.

You should have knowledge of working with and maintaining green area machinery. For this position, a minimum of a B driver's license is required. If you have a C license, it is an advantage.

Certification for wheel loaders and excavators is a merit.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, proactive, and organized, and has good physical fitness, as the work involves physical labor. You should be able to work both independently and in a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is a permanent employment.

Weekend and evening work as well as on-call duty may occur.

Salary according to agreement.

Since parts of the position may involve parish service, we require that you are a member of the Church of Sweden and share its values.

The Södra Lapplands pastorate has collective agreements with Kommunal, Vision, KyrkA, Akademikerförbundet SSR/Akavia, and Sveriges Lärare/KMR.

Business Description

The Södra Lapplands pastorate includes the Dorotea-Risbäck, Åsele-Fredrika, Vilhelmina, Stensele, and Lycksele parishes. The pastorate has about 100 employees who work with everything from church services, education, and social work to administration and cemetery maintenance.

Stationing location is Lycksele. The position also includes work that may be performed at other cemeteries within the Södra Lapplands pastorate.
