Ward 22 is a department within Northern Stockholm Psychiatry, NSP.
The ward is centrally located on Kungsholmen in the S:t Göran hospital area. We are now looking for a full-time social worker.
We are a highly specialized ward that cares for adults with psychotic disorders.
We collaborate with the Specialist Psychiatric Clinic Alviks Strand and place great importance on the participation of patients and their relatives in care. The ward has 15+1 beds. We work with the method of self-chosen admission for psychotic disorders.
On the ward, you will be part of a team of caregivers, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. There is a group of social workers in the building that facilitates collegial support.
Responsibilities
As a social worker on the ward, you will map the patient's network and social needs. You will assist the patient with applications, participate in rounds and care planning. You will have a coordinating role towards the municipality, other authorities, and care neighbors.
Engagement, trust, and confidence in care are of central importance for the patient's recovery. As a social worker, you will be available on the ward for patient conversations and support for relatives.

Qualifications
You have a degree in social work and possess good coordination skills. It is desirable that you have knowledge of municipal work and relevant legislation.
Experience in psychiatric care is an advantage.

- background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to current guidelines.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional certification. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
