About the operation:

At Vallentuna short-term home, we are now restructuring our operations to better meet the demand for support. We have previously been a traditional leisure and short-term care within LSS. Now we are stepping up to meet the needs that are increasingly requested. This means that we will be starting a new section that receives children/youth who have a greater need for support than we have been used to, and we will need to hire staff who have experience, feel secure with, and have training in meeting more challenging behaviors. This position will involve work in the old section but may also be loaned to the new one. This means that you who get the position will be able to work in two operations based on operational needs.

Job Responsibilities:

You will support customers in their daily lives in as home-like an environment as possible with opportunities for activities both inside and outside the physical location of the operation. You need to have a B driver's license and feel comfortable driving a car. ADL and personal hygiene are also included in your tasks. You will document in the journal system and you will establish and update implementation plans as well as plan for activities. Additionally, cleaning, laundry, and purchasing are part of the daily work. Your most requested tasks involve pedagogical ability in everything you do.

Qualifications:

• Education/knowledge equivalent to support pedagogue
• Experience working with low-arousal responses
• Experience working with challenging behaviors in all its forms
• Good pedagogical ability and knowledge of various methods.
