About the job

We are looking for employees with expertise in Active Directory who want to help further develop our IT environments and build the agency's operations organization to manage larger commitments regarding internal operations.

You will

• act as a technical specialist and participate in the management and further development of ADDS
• work with the team to create requirements specifications, instructions, and documentation
• initiate, drive, and participate in improvement and change efforts
• collaborate with the rest of the organization for further development, management, and implementation of new platforms or services
• monitor the area from a technical perspective and suggest improvements
• script in Powershell

You must have

• a degree in IT or equivalent knowledge that we consider equivalent
• several years of experience working with ADDS within the last 5 years
• good knowledge of Powershell to create automation scripts
• good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written
• experience working with multi-factor authentication
• experience working with federation solutions

It is meritorious if you also have

• experience working with certificate management
• experience in organizations with high security requirements
• experience working with large complex operational environments
• experience creating technical documentation
• experience working with domain name systems and group policy objects

Architectural experience in Active Directory with a focus on high security levels.

More information

The employment is permanent with placement in Örebro. Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to two days a week. The needs of the business and the nature of the tasks will determine whether and to what extent this is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

About Transportstyrelsen

Number of employees: About 2000.

Areas of operation: Transportstyrelsen works to achieve good accessibility, high quality, safe, and environmentally friendly transport within rail, aviation, shipping, and road. We develop regulations, grant permits, and monitor compliance. With the help of our registers, we work with fees, permits, and ownership transfers.

Locations: We have employees in 12 locations across the country. The largest part of the operations is located in Borlänge, Norrköping, and Örebro. The main office is located in Norrköping.

About the IT department

The IT department consists of five units with associated sections. We are about 300 employees. We support all departments within Transportstyrelsen both strategically and operationally in IT matters. We work with architecture, system development, management, and operation of IT systems as well as infrastructure.
