We are now looking for company administrators for placement at the Training Battalion's staff!

P 18 Training Battalion

The Training Battalion at P 18 is tasked with organizing and leading the regiment's conscription training and standing units with GSS/K. The conscription volume at P 18 is increasing significantly each year, and we need more administrators. You will be placed in one of our basic training companies, where the main task is to train conscripts. As a company administrator, you will be part of the company management and support both the conscription training and the company and platoon leaders.

Main Responsibilities

As a company administrator, your main responsibilities will be at the company level, where you primarily work with tasks such as:

• Ordering goods, materials, services, and supplies.
• Supporting the company's quartermaster.
• Maintaining building responsibility for designated objects, including reporting defects.
• Being responsible for command during exercises/operations in peacetime.
• Booking travel, transport, and accommodation.
• Implementing measures related to the physical work environment.
• Supporting your own company with financial and personnel administration.
• Assisting the company's personnel with TEID card administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
• B driver's license – manual transmission.

Personal Qualities

You are a responsible, proactive person with a service-oriented approach. As a company administrator, there are high demands for orderliness, flexibility, and personal integrity. You will be in frequent contact with the battalion's personnel and external units, so good social skills are also required. You enjoy working independently within your areas of responsibility.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

MERITORIOUS

• Good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Approved basic military training (conscription/GMU of at least 6 and 3 months respectively).
• Service as GSS or administrator in the Armed Forces.
• Experience in military logistics and/or personnel services.
• Experience serving as a commander.
• Driving license for military vehicles.
• Experience working in administrative support systems such as SAP/PRIO, Matilda, FMCert.
• Good physical ability and mental endurance.
• Knowledge of and understanding of military working methods.

The position is civilian. The employment is permanent. The Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period.

Employment rate: Full-time. The position may involve travel as well as evening, night, and weekend work.

Start date: By agreement

The position entails placement in a security class, and an approved security clearance is required before commencement. The position involves military placement in the Armed Forces.

Armed Forces personnel have the right to 3 hours of physical training/week on paid working time.

The Gotland Regiment was re-established on January 1, 2018, to strengthen the Armed Forces' presence on the strategically important island. Since 2020, conscripts have been trained again at P 18, and the unit will gradually be given more capabilities until 2030.
