About the Position

Through Södra's investment in the production of cross-laminated timber, we aim to take a leading position in the growing market for mass timber construction. Södra Building Systems is the segment within Södra that focuses on large-scale timber construction. In spring 2023, we inaugurated our new factory for cross-laminated timber, one of Sweden's largest, in Väröbacka. With this new factory, we are broadening the market for building materials while promoting sustainable construction and more sustainable communities.

Do you want to help develop logistics flows for the building materials of the future? We are currently looking for a Logistics Planner to join our team!

This is what you will work on at Södra

As a Logistics Planner, you will ensure that our logistics flows are managed in a cost-conscious and efficient manner. You will handle transport bookings, delivery planning, customer deliveries, and planning of our finished goods inventory. Currently, much of the work is done in Excel, but we hope to implement new digital tools this year to streamline our processes.

You will be part of an engaged team consisting of the logistics and purchasing manager, logistics planners, and vehicle drivers.

The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Värö.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has the ability to work in a structured manner and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while being flexible and prioritizing when necessary. You are curious about trying new working methods and ideas to improve and streamline the work. As a person, you are a team player who looks out for the team's best interests and is happy to share your knowledge.

We also see that you have:

Education in logistics or equivalent knowledge acquired through work
Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Good proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
Experience with business systems is a plus, and if you have worked in Dynamics F&O, it is particularly meritorious
