VR is expanding and is now looking for dedicated employees for our newly established traffic and information management in the bus area of Tyresö. About the role

As an employee in VR's traffic and information management, you will have the ultimate responsibility to support our drivers in delivering to our customers. You will work with planning, coordinating, monitoring bus traffic, and managing traffic disruptions and incidents. An important part of your role is to communicate relevant disruption information to customers, drivers, and other stakeholders through our technical systems.

Main responsibilities

• Be responsible for the operational traffic management of bus services in Tyresö
• Monitor and coordinate bus traffic
• Manage traffic disruptions and incidents
• Collaborate with drivers and other traffic managers
• Ensure that all traffic deviations, accidents, and incidents are recorded in the deviation management system
• Be responsible for internal/external communication during traffic disruptions
• Coordinate replacement traffic
• Actively work with vehicle deployment of the fleet

Your qualities

We are looking for someone who is engaged and service-oriented, has a high willingness to serve, is unpretentious, empathetic, and has good collaboration skills. You are a quick-thinking problem solver who methodically handles arising problems and deviations. You can analyze, prioritize, and continuously assess information, and you work long-term and solution-oriented under time pressure while maintaining quality.

Experience and qualifications

• High school diploma and interest in technology and vehicles
• Category B and D driving licenses are required
• Previous experience in similar tasks is an advantage
• Good local knowledge of the area is an advantage
• Good knowledge of industry-specific systems such as Hastus is desirable
• Good ability to learn new IT systems and good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written
